Your place to see what we have planned and what we are working on
This would allow us to add a custom logo as a watermark to the shared view. In addition, we could also allow a custom text. As an option, have placement, size, etc.
Option to create Portals. Portals include: • custom landing page • search
The plan is to add further customization to the shared folder option. Some of these are: • heading on password screen • background image on password screen • welcome message • what to show
just like the Chrome extension but for Safari
Title says it all 😀
Complete Shopify app so Razuna users can use their assets in Shopify
- Copy a whole file with all related data - Copy a whole folder and all its content - Copying can be done on one or multiple files
Title says it all
• Smart folders consist of saved searches. • One can save a search and share with others. • Allows to create an advanced search. • Allows to search within specific folders only.
- A new option to filter by member within Reports - Logging all member activities - Filter by action and type
- Add the same download options to shared folders and collections - Make it a setting in the shared link / collection settings
- The idea here is to provide an way to create sequential file names - Have a way to add file name based on variables
PDF files do not open properly in the mobile view
- adding tags - option to delete a file - option to move a file to another workspace - option to move a file to folders - new: select/deselect all
Destination folder searches incorrectly exclude nested folders. With Root selected, no workspace folders appear. Fix incoming-email and upload-link auto-move selection while preserving upload permissions.
Fix public-folder downloads incorrectly reporting ‘Public folder scope changed’ for older folders. Preserve subfolder organization and download permissions.
Download files from public folder links without leaving the page. “Select all” includes subfolders and preserves their organization in the ZIP. Downloads stream directly to the browser as files become ready, with improved handling of large transfers and clear errors.
Fix an issue where restoring one or multiple individually deleted files could stall and leave them in Trash. Restored files return to their original folders.
Bulk ZIP downloads from Razuna and shared folders stream files directly to the browser without temporary file copies. The browser can show the full download size and progress, including for archives larger than 4 GB.
When ZIP extraction fails, show a clear dialog explaining the problem, including missing folder-creation permissions. Include the ZIP filename and a translated OK button. Keep the message visible until dismissed.
Ensure shared folders and in-app folders, search results, and collections continue loading when the first files fit on screen. Load more files automatically as needed while preserving selections and preventing duplicate or outdated results when switching views.
Improve RAW preview generation and regeneration, correct image orientation without modifying original files, and restore thumbnail display when stored content types are incorrect. Missing or invalid thumbnails recover when opened; existing valid previews can be explicitly regenerated.
Restore uploads blocked by optional duplicate checks. Respect the duplicate-checking setting across manual uploads, folder sync and retries, with compatibility for existing Razuna servers and file integrity checks preserved.
Analyze text and images on every page of PDFs and supported Office documents, including scanned pages, presentations, and spreadsheets. Fill empty metadata fields while preserving existing values, and add detailed, deduplicated keywords for artwork across the document. Make content from later pages searchable through ordinary and AI search, with analysis running in the background and honoring workspace AI settings.
Fix folder deletion and uploads when an older session or saved link contains outdated account information. Verify access and consistently use the selected workspace’s account. ZIP imports wait for all files to finish, report failures accurately, and support recovery of missing files without overwriting existing assets.
It would be great if an automatic thumbnail could be generated from a photo in the link, or if we could choose one ourselves. I’d like it to be possible to preview the content of a download link instead of this image I’ve attached. Thanks!!
- allow up to 500 uploads per session - adjust how form is displayed - enhance window transfer - enable aborting uploads - retry on upload failures - enqueue preview, extraction, indexing, upload-link automation, and scanning
- there is a bug with accepting emails into the root folder - resolves one other small issue with email parsing
It's not obvious that one can switch a workspace by clicking on it. Hence, we are changing this into a more interactive option
- this will add the trash feature for folders, sub-folders, and files within - you can browse folders and content and selectively restore folders or files - restoring a folder will restore recursively
Use the CLI to run on your machine or on your server. Complements the MCP integration or if you just don't want to use MCP
This enables automated imports from these external locations into Razuna.
If a custom field is a link, we should detect it and turn it into a link
• /files/search/folder now honors workspace_id, or derives it from the folder. • search_filters now pass through to Typesense search instead of being dropped. • Invalid filter ids now return 400 instead of silent no-op. • Empty term: "" works for filter-only searches by using * internally. • Date filters no longer hit missing helper code. • Filtered searches avoid the secondary image-vector collection, which cannot apply these file metadata filters.
Some images contain embedded thumbnails. However, when those thumbnails are smaller than 400x400, we didn't create the default ones. This is now fixed.
This enhances the current one instruction for all
Image Detection enhancements • Tries to detect where objects on the image are and provides GPS coordinates • We switched from openstreetmap to google maps (as this is just what people expect) • We added an estimated time period parsing • New enhanced model Document Detection enhancements • New model that provides more nuanced details Examples for images Previously the image captures a panoramic view of a modern city skyline at sunset, featuring prominent skyscrapers with glass facades. the foreground includes a sleek, curved skyscraper that stands out against the backdrop of a colorful sky filled with soft clouds, creating a serene yet dynamic urban atmosphere. New The image presents a breathtaking panoramic view of the London skyline at dusk, dominated by the distinctive "Walkie-Talkie" skyscraper in the foreground. From a high vantage point, likely a rooftop, the city stretches out under a soft, cloudy sky, revealing other iconic structures like The Gherkin and the dome of St Paul's Cathedral in the distance. The scene captures the modern architectural grandeur of London as day transitions into evening. Document examples Previously, it would give you an overview; now it gives you more precise details of what you can expect. Previously The document is a comprehensive guide on protein, aimed at educating readers about its importance for various health and fitness goals. It emphasizes the evolution of protein consumption, debunks common myths, and provides practical strategies for incorporating protein into daily diets for optimal health and performance. New This is a health/fitness guide focused on protein and its role in building muscle, fat loss, and overall health. It chronicles a shift from meat-heavy approaches to a more nuanced, sometimes plant-forward and wild-meat-inclusive strategy, offering a practical, no-nonsense roadmap for readers of all ages and goals, supported by anecdotes and brand context.
• get a single file • update file
This roadmap item includes the following items: • Have settings to make fields required or optional • Direct link to the settings in the upload link overview • Small redesign of the top navigation within an upload link • Paging works reliably within an upload link
We identified several bugs in the API related to shared workspaces.
If you add a user to your team, and they already have a Razuna account, you would not see that the user got invited, and the user also did not get notified. This is now fixed, i.e., you will see that you invited the user. Also, the user will need to confirm before joining your team.
This would provide the same auto-tagging for videos as we have for images and documents. We add this here to gauge how important this is for you. Hence, please cast your vote!
We identified an issue where the GPS coordinates weren't indexed along with the general data. Hence, no places were found in the search.
We've added the update folder tool to rename, move and set the color of a folder.
Icons and favicons are stretched and pixelated in the Razuna UI when they are small. Consider rendering them at actual size when the image is smaller than the tile size. See screenshot.
When you upload a file that already exists in a workspace, a message pops up to let you know that. However, searching for the name of the file does not always show results, and it would be helpful if the notification could take you to the location of the already-available file.
This enhances the download of files and makes it faster for the user too
We had an issue today where some external services were unreachable causing our apps to hang.
We fixed an issue where the MCP oAuth login did not work when 2fa, passkey, or other methods were used.
We have now added a specific upload link event notifications
This will add support for team-spaces from Dropbox
We identified an issue where the drawer does not always load. This fixes it.
• This currently only works when moving a file or files in batches
Dropbox Tags are like Razuna Tags. However, as the customer might want to import them as keywords, we add an option to import them as Tags (default) or as keywords. If by keywords, we append any generated AI keywords.
create_folder now sends { workspace_id, name, parent_id } at the top level (not wrapped in query), so the 500 error from missing workspace_id is gone. Schema dropped description (the API doesn't accept it) and added color.
Trying out Razuna and have installed the desktop app for Mac. When I launch it, it wants me to a datacentre, launches the browser app and I sign in. After some time, I get an "Authentication timed out. Please try again." message. Have tried a few times, both today and yesterday, but no luck.
<p>What's new in this release:</strong></p><ul><li>We have changed how you authenticate to the Razuna server. Instead of you having to get an access token and use it in the settings, we connect the Razuna server via a browser window and you can login with your username and password.</li><li>We also fixed a bug where you would see the file upload happening two times.</li><li>We fixed a bug where a filename with some foreign characters would not be accepted for uploading.</li><li>We updated all internal packages to the latest security releases.</li><li>Thank you for using Razuna!</li></ul>````
• Added a failsafe in case the upload location fails • Fixed drag & drop as the latest engine changed • Fixed the update process, which either couldn't download the update or then showed a pop-up windo,w and after the downloa,d did nothing
Add a "check instructions" button to ensure the instructions apply correctly to the parser. Will respond with helpful options for each file type. AI helping AI 😀
Now you can add a URL directly in Razuna (this always worked, but you had to use the Razuna Browser Extension)
The title says it all, but the new MCP server version now uses the same enhanced AI features
Title says it all, but this is the official Razuna Wordpress plugin
Files can now have multiple notes, making it easier to keep track of important information as a team. Notes are managed in the Notes tab and can be highlighted to surface key information directly in the file details view.
This is not merely adding a note; it is a complete record in markdown. With this release, we have introduced a new markdown editor that will feel familiar if you know Notion.
We should have notification settings for different sections and events. We are still looking into this, but the card is here, so you know we are aware and thinking about how best to implement it. Vote on this, so you get notified of updates, and also to let us know that you like this!
We fixed an issue where the internal name was returned instead of the public hostname. Also, updated the return so the image can be embedded with the query string.
Previously, we fetched the metadata of the page and indexed according to the screenshot taken. Now, we also capture the full content of the page (minus ads, css, scripts, etc.) enabling a much broader search spectrum.
• add to teams • remove from teams • remove user
• Folders should be moved by drag & drop • Custom folder order • Folder search
This will help customers who have several email domains or users from different organizations in one account.
Right now, ZIP files are just being added to an upload link. This option will change: • Create an option to accept ZIP files as in • If ZIP files should be extracted, the content will be shown in the upload link • As there are no folders in the upload links, the whole content will be extracted and shown in the upload links
This will allow you to set a default order for your files when sharing a folder
Upload templates will allow us to define specific values and actions that will then apply to all files added to a folder (upload templates will be added to folders). For instance: • add tags • add metadata (append/replace) • add copyright values (append/replace) • create additional formats
Semantic search helps retrieve results that are conceptually related to a query. For eg, let's say a user types in "ocean", but your dataset only contains the keyword "sea", semantic search can help pull up the "sea" result, since "ocean" is related to "sea".
This is already done, but we want to publish and integrate with the image and video editor.
The current process of selecting files, clicking 'move', and choosing a destination is cumbersome. Allow dragging files to folders in 'My Workspace'.
Renditions will enable adding several files into one file.
Full featured image editor in Razuna.
When I upload a photo taken in 2008 and modified in 2010, it only shows as added today on Razuna. Can Razuna display and search by the original file date?
Have an option to recreate thumbnails within the detail or list view.
Title says it all
Users would see the root folder within "Shared with me" but no subfolders or files within
API to interact with every part of Razuna
When I select all in my favorites (why can't you check pictures individually there?) and use the select all button to add them to my collection, it shows a green checkmark. However, when I check the collection, it remains empty. I've tried this several times without success.
Recently, when I change folder colors, they are not updating.
Good day, I love the new upload links. However, if someone uploads 100 images, will we receive 100 email notifications? Could this be consolidated into one email?
Adding a web hook option per workspace to send events from the workspace.
• We are investigating folder upload inconsistencies • We are investigating reports of folders and sub-folders not being updated or uploaded each time (this is also related to the same folder upload in the web version)
This essentially enables, e.g., a S3 compatible storage to act as a drop folder and the system automatically imports files from the location every 30 minutes or so. Could be part of the "Upload links" to approve/reject files before making them available to the workspace.
We have an option to add this feature. However, we are unsure how useful this can be for our customers. Please let us know, and upvote if you find it useful.
Add custom fields that support multiple values per asset. Values can be entered freely or selected from a pre-defined list you create. These fields appear as tags in the file detail view, making it easy to view and update all the field's values.
Each workspace will have a unique email-address that accepts attachments and imports the files
Found the documentation at: https://help.razuna.com/p/tracking-workspace-activities-with-google-analytics-ga4
A last-minute bug and the runtime engine are causing issues with our latest desktop edition. We are working to get this resolved asap.
At the moment, SSO authentication requires a user account to exist in the system. With this change, user accounts are automatically provisioned if they don't exist but were authenticated successfully. We will also include the option to add those provisioned users to teams at the same time.
This change will bring, among other enhancements: • A folder tree (just like within Razuna) • The filter option within a folder • Search by labels and keywords
This option will allow our customers to tailor the parsing to their business requirements. Example: Real estate "Focus on property features (bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, architectural styles). Identify room types and property conditions." Example: Medical practice "Identify medical equipment, anatomical features, healthcare settings. Use medical terminology for body parts and procedures." Example: Fashion "Focus on clothing items, colors, patterns, fabrics, styles (casual, formal, vintage). Identify accessories and fashion trends."
This fixes: • Keywords and descriptions might fail to show • In rare cases, the upload could fail • The uploader's information was not shown correctly • Custom fields which are textarea's showed as text field • There was no description for custom fields on the upload form
Some notifications are still being cut off, not showing the full description.
This is related to the edit function not working correctly. When editing a file, for instance to correct an orientation issue by rotating it 90 degrees, the subsequent workflow results in loosing the original image altogether. Here are the steps: • View in image • Select edit • Click the rotate option • Click Save • Select the replace option. • The image is lost and replaced by a placeholder. • Also the revisions are missing so it is impossible to roll back to the previous version. I've attached a screen recording that demonstrates the issue.
We made the following changes in Razuna Desktop: • From this version on, we will update Razuna Desktop automatically for you. • We made sure that changing the URL also removes the local caches correctly • We fixed an issue with uploading large files, i.e., it looked like nothing was happening, while the system uploaded the file in the background. This wasn't very clear, so we are showing a nice progress bar now. • We updated all internal packages to the latest security releases • We made further changes to detect your connection to the network and provide more details in case something is amiss
We made the following changes and enhancements: • If you're a Co-Admin of someone else's Workspace, you will see a dropdown menu within the "settings" to switch to those Workspaces. • You can now add users directly to your team, regardless of whether they have a Razuna account or not (previously, it would throw an error if the user already has a Razuna account and prompted you to "invite" them - confusing, I know) • The "invite" option has been removed (not required anymore with the above changes). These enhancements allow you to add anyone, regardless of their email domain (e.g., @mycompany.com), as a team member. However, account controls will only apply to members with your email domain. For security purposes, the following changes are made: • To enable account control, you are required to create a DNS TXT record to verify your email domain.
This is now fully integrated into each Workspace. You can create as many connections you require and browse and import files and folders from a S3 (and S3 compatible) storage. The documentation is at https://help.razuna.com/p/browse-your-s3-and-compatible-storage
The settings of a workspace did not save correctly as of the latest update with the S3 connections.
We've redesigned the teams view which will now show you all the members of a team
This update adds support for creating thumbnails, with a fallback option for TIF files larger than 500MB. Tested up to 3GB per TIF file.
This will now automatically try to create previews for any files that were missed or couldn't be processed during upload.
I'm unable to select any members or teams within the Manage Workspace > Access area. This means I can't administer folder permissions appropriately, which is causing us operational issues. Hopefully, it's a straightforward UI fix. Regards, Royd
It would be great to add a heading to the upload form page, too.
Razuna Desktop now supports folder synching
• tooltip added • folders always align correctly • folder images stretch over the whole card • on hover made icons more visible
Found a small UI issue were the breadcrumb shows a different parent folder
As the title says, this will enable uploading a custom thumbnail for display instead of the default folder icon
• Collection refactoring as an "umbrella" to share across all workspaces and folders. • Deprecate "my collection" in favor of this refactoring. • Will have settings, for all collections and per collection. • Same shareable link options as workspaces and folders.
Bring back this feature from our legacy Razuna. • Enable link on login page to request access • User gets form with user info • Razuna will send them an email to create an account • User creates Razuna account and system will add the user to the user list of host
While each user has their own Razuna account, this option allows an Administrator to invite users, add existing users to the Workspace, and add users to Groups / Teams.
Provide corporate accounts to restrict what users can do All users with @email domain ending to not have workspace Redirect user into Workspace Option to select which workspace
